Workshop speaker Roy Messing is the Director of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (“OEOC”), which is located at Kent State University. He directs the activities of the center’s three primary focuses – business succession planning: assisting prospective and existing employee-owned companies; and leading the development of cooperatives. The center has a long history in supporting the initial and ongoing development of Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and Employee/Worker-owned Cooperatives.
