Hosted by the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic at Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, the CFAES Center for Cooperatives, the Small Business Development Center at the OSU South Centers, and the OSU South Centers Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

As an entrepreneur, you’ve likely run into legal questions on your business journey, whether you’re just starting to explore an idea or have been successfully running a business for years. Learn about common legal issues encountered by entrepreneurs and get your questions answered by an attorney at this in-person event in southern Ohio.

Entrepreneurs can sign-up to meet one-on-one with an attorney to ask questions and receive guidance at no cost.

Attorneys with expertise in the following areas will be available:

  • Marketing and advertising
  • Employment
  • Business structures
  • Cooperatives and worker ownership
  • Intellectual property
  • And more!

Throughout the event, registrants can attend free public education sessions about common legal issues for businesses. From learning about business structures and the incorporation process to understanding the difference between employees and independent contractors, sessions will help entrepreneurs navigate their legal landscape.

Registration is required for an appointment. Space is limited and appointments will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointment details will be confirmed by a staff member prior to the event. You must be registered prior to the event to be able to meet with an attorney.
