Center and Partners Bring “Food and Farm Marketing Basics” Workshop to Fairfield County, Ohio

The CFAES Center for Cooperatives, Direct Food & Agricultural Marketing Specialist Christie Welch, and OSU South Centers Small Business Development Center recently collaborated with Fairfield County Ohio State University Extension to present Food and Farm Marketing Basics for local businesses and farms! 

The free workshop on January 8, 2025, hosted 17 participants to learn strategies to improve marketing efforts for their food and farm businesses. Topics included pricing products for profit, evaluating market channels, identifying target customers, and building an effective and consistent brand.
