Attorneys, accountants, business developers, cooperative leaders, students, and others are invited to learn from nationally recognized cooperative experts about how cooperative businesses raise and manage capital, access investment, and distribute profits, including new and emerging as well as long-established cooperatives.
Cooperatives are embedded in communities across Ohio and the United States, from farmer-owned agribusinesses to community-owned grocery stores, retailer-owned wholesalers, and resident-owned communities, among many others.
The diverse group of expert speakers will include agricultural economists, attorneys, accountants, a finance professional, and cooperative developer, sharing practical insights focused on aligning finance, governance, and growth with effective capital strategies.
The series is free and open to all levels of interest and experience with the cooperative business model.
Webinars are scheduled for September 16 at 1 p.m. Eastern, November 18 at 1 p.m. Eastern, and November 18 at 2 p.m. Eastern. Participants can attend one session or all three.
